Jacob Peistrup is an ambitious and driven professional with a strong skill set for modern-day content marketing, SEO, and video creation. He uses his digital expertise to build relationships, support clients, and market properties. Over his career, Jacob has mastered the online landscape to build a captive audience, with millions of online impressions from YouTube and Google.
Background & Education
Jacob was born in St. Louis but moved away as a baby. He spent his childhood moving around New England, specifically Maine and Massachusetts, until coming back to St. Louis at the age of 15 to start high school at MICDS.
He moved around so much growing up that everyone asks if he was a military kid, and the answer is no. His mom is an anesthesiologist who is always hunting for the best job offer, so that’s why he moved cities every 2-3 years growing up.
Jacob holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Jacob is licensed to practice real estate in Missouri, Illinois, and Massachusetts. He is also a licensed part 107 commercial drone pilot.
Fun fact: Jacob got his real estate license at 19! He was the youngest person at the brokerage for a few months when he got into the business.
He’s always been a go-getter. In school, he took 11 AP exams (that was brutal), had a part-time job at Jamba Juice, took night classes at WashU, and was heavily involved in the Science Olympiad team at MICDS. He’s taken that same work ethic and applied it to his career in real estate. He sold homemade jewelry as a kid, sold products on Amazon for a few months at 17, and now he helps sell houses.
Personal Life
Outside of real estate, Jacob loves weightlifting. He works with his trainer and does a 6-day push-pull workout program. He also loves exploring new hiking trails, playing sand volleyball during the summer, grabbing a smoothie at Jamba Juice, and exploring new bars around St. Louis with his boyfriend.
Jacob doesn’t have pets, but his younger brother has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Everest. So, although he isn’t a dog dad, Jacob is a really fun dog uncle!
