When locals talk about “West County,” they mean the stretch of St. Louis County that runs west of I-270 all the way to the Missouri River. It’s a big area covering some of the largest cities and most desirable zip codes in the St. Louis area.
West St. Louis County includes Town and Country, Clarkson Valley, Wildwood, Ballwin, Ellisville, Manchester, and Valley Park. These neighborhoods are known for their high quality of life, great public school districts (like Rockwood and Parkway), and easy access to downtown St. Louis and St. Charles County via I-64/40.
